Biography Galkin Nikolai
(1856 - 1906). He graduated from the course at the St. Petersburg Conservatory in violin class of Professor Auer, perfected in Berlin under the guidance of Joachim. Given concerts in Germany, France, Belgium, Holland and Russia. He was a soloist in the ballet orchestra of the Mariinsky Theater, then conductor of the Alexandrinsky Theater. He taught at the St. Petersburg Conservatory violin. In 1892 and 1893 respectively conducted summer concerts in Pavlovsk, placing them in the program of works of prominent Russian authors. Also participated in the ensemble of the St. Petersburg Quartet with Auer headed, he sang alto. Posted a few violin pieces.
