Biography Gill Christian Christianovich
(1837 - 1908), a native of Germany. In 1867, Mr.. arrived in Russia. Compiled by first-class collection of Greek coins of the northern coast of the Black Sea and the kings of the Bosporus (now owned by the Grand Duke Alexander Mikhailovich) and contributed to the compilation of the richest collections of Byzantine and Russian coins Count I.I. Tolstoy. Ilyin, Russian coins, minted from 1801 - 1904 years "(St. Petersburg, 1904)," On the Bosporus coins with monograms and other ( "Proceedings of the Archaeological Congress in Odessa, 1888, t. VI); "Kleine Beitrage zur antiken Numismatik Sud-Russlands" (Moscow, 1886), "The new acquisitions of my collection in 1891" (St. Petersburg), "Description of the coins received in my collection in 1892 - 93 years (St. Petersburg, 1896). Participated in numismatic periodicals Grand Duke Georgy Mikhailovich and contributed to the base of the numismatic department of the Imperial Russian Archaeological Society. - See. MG.
