Born in 1827
A teacher of Russian and Polish in the gymnasium. At first he walked hand in hand with the Poles, then, under the influence of metropolitan Yakhimovich and Jacob Golovatskii, became "Narodowci" and began to publish the newspaper "Slovo", since 1865, Mr.. became Russophile, causing enmity against him sharply isolated Ukrainophilism.
