Biography Dyachenko Nikita
(1809 - 1877), professor at Kiev University. He graduated from the course at the Kharkov University in Physics and Mathematics Faculty. His thesis: "The argument about the successes since the Euler made in finding definite integrals and the definition of" (Kharkov, 1835) and "Discourse on the hydraulic wheels" (Kharkov, 1838). - His brother, Amos, A. (1814 - 1852), professor of Kiev University, Department of Applied Mathematics, also studied at the Kharkov. His two theses - "On the singular solutions of differential equations" and "On the curvature of surfaces" - remained in manuscript.
