ZAVIALOV Alexey

(1861 - 1907)
A pupil of the St. Petersburg Theological Academy, was the prosecutor of the Moscow Synodal Office and observer of church schools. As a member of the Synodal Commission on the description of the archive, published two volumes of "Complete Collection of decrees and orders of the Office of the Orthodox confession Russia Empire during the reign of Empress Elizaveta Petrovna (1741 - 1743)". His Master's thesis "The question of the church estates under Empress Catherine II" (St. Petersburg, 1900) is based mainly on the open of archive material. Other works Zavjalova: "On the question of marriage and divorce, the marriage" (St. Petersburg, 1892), "The oath" (ib., 1901); "catacombs" (ib., 1903). - See. S. Runkevich A. A. Z.
