Biography KOZLOV Gabriel Ignatievich
(1738 - 1791). He studied at A. Perezinotti and J. Valeriani. He was a professor and associate rector of the Academy of Fine Arts and director of the St. Petersburg Tapestry. Considered especially adept in composing allegorical subjects, and ornaments. From the pictures it issued "Denial of St. Peter's Christ" (in the museum of Alexander III), . image of St. Prince Michael of Chernigov and his boyar, . Fedor, . the Moscow Cathedral of the Archangel, . Icon of the northern and southern doors in the iconostasis of the main church of the Smolensk Cemetery in St. Petersburg.,
