Biography Komarov, Vladimir L.
Born in 1869. Graduated from the natural faculty of Petersburg University. Another student has committed, on behalf of the St. Petersburg Society of Natural History, two visits to Turkestan, and wrote three works on the little studied flora Zeravshanskiy Basin. The result of his travels in the Amur region was his work: "Conditions for further colonization of the Amur" (XXXII that "Izvestia of the Russian Geographic Society). Two years was on an expedition to Manchuria. In 1898 he received a place conservator at the St. Petersburg Botanical Garden. He received a master's degree for the first volume of the dissertation: "Flora of Manchuria", Ph.D. - for the second volume of her. In 1902, he traveled to Sayan, which gave the rich collections of the flora of this little explored part of Siberia and geographical data Tunkinsky area and Lake Kosogol. Later he was in Kamchatka.
