Biography KRYLOV Michael G.
(1786 - 1846). He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, first at V. Shubin, then y and. Martos, awarded a small gold medal for relief: "Martha, attended the Governor's Wife Theodosius Boretsky, large - for relief:" Andromache mourns slain Hector. In 1819, Mr.. went to Rome, where the advice of Canova, and executed the colossal statue of Hector. Later his most important works: the statue of "fist-fighters" (1837; a plaster copy of the Museum of the Academy of Fine Arts), a few bas-reliefs for the Mikhailovsky Palace, a colossal bronze bust of Sobakin, a bust of Emperor Nicholas I.
