Biography Grigory A. Lishin
(1854 - 1888). He graduated from the course in the School of Law. His first songs - "Some floated sounds" (Fet) and "Spring" (A. T-shirts). Theoretical knowledge he has acquired under the guidance of Galley and Professor H. Solovyov. In 1875 - 1876 years Lishin was the second conductor of the Opera in Kharkov and then conducted his opera troupe organized in different cities of Russia. In 1876, Mr.. Moscow conducted a suite from his opera "The Count Nulin" and arranged opera Auber: "La part du diable" for Moscow's Maly Theater. His opera "The Spanish nobleman" ( "Don Cesar de Bazan") delivered with success in Kiev in 1888. Printed, except for two of his operas, songs (over 60), at one time very popular, and piano pieces. The other two operas - "The Gypsies" and "Fountain of Bakhchisarai (unfinished), symphonic poem" Solomitskaya Hetaera "," Prologue "(text by the author) for the opening of the Odessa Theater, excerpts from" Requiem "remained in manuscript.
