Maximov Vasiliy Maksimovich

(1844 - 1911). He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts. Received in 1865. gold medal for the painting "Sick Child". Since 1878. - Academician. Since 1871. was a member of the Association Wanderers, displaying mainly paintings, very ably representing scenes of rural life. Maximov is best represented in the Tretyakov Gallery: "Come to the wedding magician" (1875), "Family Section" (1876) and "All in the past" (1889).
