Biography Alexei Markov
(1847 - 1893), was educated in the Law School. Vigorously and deeply devoted to the judicial statutes, Markov has devoted all his energy on the court service agency, despite the fact that the undoubted talent in painting and the poetic genius drew him to other activities. Consistently taking a number of positions for Prosecutorial Supervision, . he participated in a number of serious and complex cases, . a deputy prosecutor in St. Petersburg Circuit Court, . and the introduction of judicial reform in the Kingdom of Poland as a prosecutor, Kalisz, . then the Warsaw Court, . And in those positions, and the Criminal Cassation Department where he was a friend of the chief prosecutor, he was distinguished by the persistent desire to start high justice, which permeates the judicial laws of Emperor Alexander II. This same spirit was manifested in the extensive reports of Markov in the St. Petersburg Law Society on the activities and organization of our courts without a jury and on appeal the sentences acquit the defendant. In recent years, Markov worked intensively with the rank of chairman of the Department of the Trial Chamber in Warsaw. On his death was opened an exhibition of his paintings, and published collection of his poems and drawings. - Wed.
