Biography Ibn Firnas
(Abu al-Qasim ibn `Abbas al-Firnas Takurunni) (? - 887) by origin Berber. He was born in Ronda (Spain). Worked in Cordoba's court poet and astrologer emirs' Abd al-Rahman II, and Muhammad I, was nicknamed "the sage of Andalusia" (Hakim al-Andalus). I.F. is primarily known for his inventions and activities to spread east of science in the western world. Works I.F. to this day have not reached.
In honor of I.F. lunar crater named Ibn Firnas.
