Biography Heliodorus
(Heliodorus) Greco-Egyptian astrologer turn V-VI centuries. BC. (not to be confused with the same astrologer, executed, according Ammianu Marcellinus, in 372 g.). Student Proclus Diadochi, the brother of the famous philosopher Ammonium. Known for his observations in Alexandria between 498 and 510 gg. In addition to comments on work of Paul of Alexandria, Mr.. left several treatises on astronomy and astrology, including the "astronomical didactics" in eight chapters. G. was standing in astronomy and astrology for many generations of scientists.
