1.10/13.10.1879 - 25.8.1953 Teaching as a theoretician of historical knowledge Bitsilli - Representative neoidealisticheskogo historicism associated with the names of W. Dilthey, Weber, B. Croce, by determining the influence of which formed his views. Especially close to him set Croce: denial of speculative philosophy of history with its teologichekim and mythological ballast, an understanding of history as the creative work of the spirit, bringing aesthetic point of view of individualizing.
