Biography Miguel Alemö?n Valdö?s (Alemn Valds Miguel)
(1902-1983) Born September 29, 1902 in Sayule (pc. Veracruz). Alemö?n's father took an active part in the Revolution 1910-1917. In 1917, Alemö?n was given to the National boarding Mexico City in 1920 entered the preparatory school at the University, in 1925-1928 he studied at the Faculty of National Autonomous University of Mexico. In 1930, Aleman was appointed legal adviser to the Ministry of Agriculture, and in 1935, when Lazaro Cardenas, became a member of the Supreme Court of the Federal District. In 1934, Alemö?n was elected to the Senate from the state of Veracruz, and two years later became governor of the state of. Served in that post for three years, then returned to the Senate. In 1940 the head of the presidential campaign of Manuel Avila Camacho, who came to power, appointed him Minister of the Interior.
In 1946, Alemö?n became president with the support of the Institutional Revolutionary Party.
