Biography KHAYYAM Omar
(ca. 1048 - after 1122) Full name - Giyasaddin Abul-Fath Omar ibn Ibrahim. He was born in Nishapur. Nickname Khayyam (MPs) associated with the profession of his father or someone else from the ancestors. During his lifetime, and until relatively recently, Khayyam was known primarily as an outstanding mathematician, physicist and astronomer. His Algebra, written in Arabic, was first published and translated into French FM Vepke in 1851
