Biography Rafael Sabatini (Sabatini Rafael)
(1875-1950) Born April 29, 1875 in Jesi (Italy). He was educated in Switzerland and Portugal, after which he settled in England. His first novel, Knight Tavern (The Tavern Knight), was published when Sabatini was 29 years old. The real fame came to the writer in 1921, after the publication of the novel Scaramouche (Scaramouche) .
