Born February 16, 1852. Ivanovo-Voznesensky industrialist and philanthropist, the largest collector, founder of the Museum of Industry and art, a collection of antiquities and curiosities in g. Ivanovo-Voznesensk (now the Ivanovo regional historical museum), hereditary honorary citizen of Russia

He has made a major contribution to the treasury of national culture, . unique collections, . among them: a rich textile fund, . collection of ancient manuscripts and early printed books, . the most valuable numismatic collection, . Masonic Collection, . the world's only universal astronomical clock, etc.,
. In 1896, Dr.. G. Burylin all collected collection bequeathed to the city of Ivanovo-Voznesensk. Unique collection became the basis of the establishment of Ivanovo Museums: Regional History, Regional Art, the Museum of Ivanovo calico. Died Sept. 13, 1924. The title of "Honorary Citizen of Ivanov's given him the decision of the City Duma? 349 of 27.06.2000
