BARE Vladimir I.

(12.HI.1853, g. Elnya Smolensk province - 15.V.1905)
He graduated from the Marine Corps. Sailed on different ships off the coast of Japan and China. Toured the world on the clipper Dzhigit in 1884-87 he. In 1899. commanded the cruiser "Varangian". In 1904. appointed commander of the 5-th navy crew, then a battleship "Oslabya". Took part in the Tsushima battle and was killed along with the battleship. He was awarded the Order of St.. Vladimir 4-th degree, SW. Anne 2 nd degree, SW. Stanislaus 2 nd degree.
