In the years 1967-1977 - Head of the Department of Psychiatry (SHMI). In 1970. led Smolensk branch of scientific societies of neuropathologists and psychiatrists.

D. published 45 scientific works. Participated in the preparation of psychiatric glossary. Under the leadership of Dr.. prepared 3 Ph.D. dissertation. The main direction of scientific research - exogenous-organic CNS lesions.
