In 1930 the family moved to Moscow. Graduated 10 classes of school. Alexander was 16 years old when the village Petrishcheva Moscow region Germans executed his sister. Only in April 1942, his request was granted: he was drafted into the army.. In 1943 he graduated from the Ulyanovsk military tank school.
