Laryngo Hortensius (Hortensius Hortalus, Quintus)

Hortensius, Quintus; Hortensius Hortalus, Quintus, 114-50 gg. BC. e., Roman orator. In 75 g. was aediles, 72 g. - Praetor in 69 g. - Consul. The policy has some very conservative views. Even in the age of 19 i.i. gained universal acceptance, defending the inhabitants of the African province. Admired and imitated him somewhat younger Cicero.
