(1901 - 1993)

Born on July 26 (August 8, NS) in St. Petersburg in the family of an employee of the Ministry of Finance. Received a good education at home, she studied at school.

After the revolution in 1919 - 20 studied at the Rostov-on-Don, then returned to Petrograd. As a poet, in 1921 entered the literary circles of Petrograd. In June

1922 received permission to leave the country with Khodasevich, who became her husband. At first she lived in Gorky in Italy, then - in Paris
