Oles Gonchar (real name - Alexander Terent'evich) (3.4.1918, the village of Sukha Poltava province - 1995), writer, academician of the Ukrainian SSR (1978), Hero of Socialist Labor (1978). twice winner of the Stalin Prize (1948, 1949).
