Notes Mstislav was largely similar to his father and reign of Mstislav can be regarded as a direct continuation of the reign of Monomakh. He was able to connect to Kiev principality of Polotsk, always retains its isolation and hostility, to drive Polovtsy for Don and the Volga.
After the death of Mstislav almost all came from the Duchy of obedience. 15 principalities gradually turned into a small sovereign states. Power Grand Prince irrevocably receding into the past, although the symbolic grandeur of the throne preserved.
Novgorod principality has become a feudal republic, and remained so up to 1478g. Then became isolated Polotsk, Chernigov, Vladimir-Volyn, Galich Duchy

. Mstislav (1076-1132, Kiev) - Prince of Novgorod in 1095, Pereyaslav in 1117, led . Prince of Kiev in 1125. The eldest son of Vladimir Monomakh. Together with his father tried to save Kiev as his political center of Russia. He participated in campaigns against the father Polovtsy.
