Biography Belenky Abram
Belenky Abram (1882, suburb overthrown in Belarus - 16.10.1941), one of the leaders of state security, the major national security (5/12/1935). The son of a Jewish bourgeois elders. In January. 1902 joined RSDLP, Bolshevik. Conducted Party work in Kharkov, Gomel, Mogilev. Repeatedly arrested. In December. 1904 he emigrated to France, worked as a shoemaker. In May 1917 he returned to Russia. In May - Dec.. 1917 was in charge of printing RSDLP (b) "Work" in St. Petersburg. In December. 1917 sent to the Cheka, the Commissioner of the Cheka on printing, in 1918-19 fellow of the Division to combat crime in the post. In July 1918 during the "revolt of the Left SRs" arrested along with F.E. Dzerzhinsky. In 1921-22 member of the Collegium of the Cheka. In 1921-22 beginning. workplaces of the Presidium of the Cheka, from March 1922 to 1.10.1928 - in the College of the GPU-OGPU. He was responsible for guarding the country's leadership, in t.ch. and VI. Lenin. On 29.9.1930 the special plenipotentiary at the chairman of the OGPU from 10/7/1934 - People's Commissar for Internal Affairs of the USSR. He was engaged in sorting out personal affairs officials. From 31/12/1936 pom. special plenipotentiary. 16/05/1938 sacked and soon arrested. 29/05/1939 sentenced "for anti-Soviet agitation" to 5 years imprisonment. 07/07/1941 sentenced to death. Shot. In 1956, rehabilitated.
