Kabakov, Ivan Dmitrievich (1891-1937), a party activist. The son of a peasant. He worked as a laborer, a mechanic. In 1914 he joined the RSDLP, Bolshevik. Since 1916 member of the committee Sormovsky RSDLP. In 1917 participated in the establishment of Soviet power in Nizhny Novgorod, Nizhny Novgorod, and a member of Sormovsky Boards. From 1918 - to party work. In 1922-23 Secretary of Yaroslavl in 1924 - Tula, the Provincial Committee of the Party. In 1924 a candidate member, since 1925 member of the CC, CPSU (b). In 1928-29 before. Ural Executive Committee. Since 1929 1 st Secretary of the Urals (Sverdlovsk in 1934) Regional Committee of the CPSU (b). Almost 10 years Kabakov headed by one of the most important regions of the country. In June 1937 expelled from the party and arrested. Sentenced to death. Shot. In 1956, rehabilitated and restored in the party.
