Nazaretian Amayak Makarovich (17.11.1889, Tbilisi - 30.10.1937), party activist. The son of a merchant. Studied at the Faculty of St. Petersburg University (not finished). In 1905 joined the RSDLP, Bolshevik. In 1917-18 a member of the Tiflis Committee RSDLP and the Caucasus Regional Committee RSDLP (b). In June 1918 - Feb.. 1919 People's Commissar of Labor, Deputy. prev. SNK Terek Republic. Autumn of 1919 was one of the organizers of the Bolshevik uprising against the legitimate Government of Georgia. In 1920 Secretary of the Caucasian Bureau of the RCP (b). In 1922-23 Head. Office of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the RCP (b), then worked in the newspaper "Pravda". In 1924 Secretary of the Transcaucasian Regional Committee of the CPSU (b), before. CCC and the People's Commissar of Workers and Peasants' Inspectorate (RCT) ZSFSR. Since 1924 member of the CCC, since 1926 Member of the Presidium of the CCC, CPSU (b). In 1931-34 member of the Board of the USSR People's Commissariat of RCTs. In 1937, arrested. Sentenced to death. Shot. He was posthumously rehabilitated.
