Ferrer (Feyfer) Itzik (Isaac Solomonovich) (10.9.1900, place Shpola near Cherkassy - 12.8.1952), poet. In 1919 joined the RCP (6) and the Red Army. In his poetry, the focus has paid the romance of the struggle for new life, the heroic spirit of the Civil War. His first works: "Splinters" (1922), "about yourself and about the same as I" (1924), the poem "Iosl Shinder and Rebet" (1925), "The Death of Elijah" (1928). During the Great Patriotic War was the executive secretary of the Jewish Antifascist Committee. In 1948, during the rout committee arrested. In July 1952, sentenced to death. Shot. He was posthumously rehabilitated.
