Biography Tseytlin Yakov Semenovich
Tseytlin Yakov S. (1901 - 19.4.1937), the party leader. In 1918 joined the RKP (b). Member of the Civil War, then - on the Komsomol in Petrograd. In 1921-23 Secretary of the North-West Bureau of the CC RKSM. In 1923-26 secretary of the Komsomol. Active member of "new opposition". In his speech, said that "all the people of Leningrad must unite against those who try to weaken the Leningrad party", meaning by "them" I.V. Stalin and his followers. In early 1933 arrested and expelled from the party as an organizer of the Trotsky-Zinoviev underground group. 17/6/1933 Partkollegiey restored, but the Bureau 27.8.1933 CCC to submit NI. Yezhov overturned a decision to restore. In August. 1934 restored a candidate member of the CPSU (b). 8/12/1934 arrested in the case of Leningrad Zinoviev counterrevolutionary group ". Decision of the Special Meeting of the NKVD deported to 5 years in Yeniseisk. In 1936, again arrested and sentenced to 19.4.1937 death. Shot. He was posthumously rehabilitated.
