Biography CONSTANTINE I
Constantine I (1407-1412) - King of Georgia. In 1407 the imperial throne took my brother George VII Constantine I. By this time, increased Kara Yusuf - The Lord of the Turkmen. To combat emperor Constantine I, Shirvanshah Ibrahim and ruler Shaka formed a coalition. The decisive battle took place in 1412. Kara-Yusuf emerged the victor in this battle, and Constantine and Ibrahim were captured. Together with the Georgian king prisoner were taken 300 Aznauri (small feudal lords). In captivity Constantine held proudly and unflinchingly, that aroused the indignation of Kara-Yusuf. He ordered the king and Aznauri were executed.
