Kaba Etienne (1788-1856) - French utopian socialist. In science-fiction novel 'Journey to the Ikari' (1840) and others. Kaba works outlined his ideas, called 'Icarian communism'. Utopia Kaba inherent features such as equalization of consumption, the idea of 'reconciliation' of the poor and the rich. Kaba stood for the peaceful exercise of communism. In the philosophical issues, especially in views on history, Kaba followed idealistic beliefs, combined rationalism 17. with Platonism and Neoplatonism. Marx wrote that the Kaba was a popular, though the most superficial, the representative of communism.
