Guriljev Alexander L.

Guriljev Alexander L. (1803-1858). Born in Moscow in the family of a serf musician. Since childhood showed outstanding talent for music, studied with renowned pianists J. Filda and Genishta.

1831 g. after the death of the owner of Count Orlov, father and son Gurilev were released on the will and assigned to the petty-bourgeois estate.

It began publishing his works and widened Gurilev fame as a pianist, singer and teacher.

Heavy physical conditions, mental illness, and in 1858. - Death in Moscow.
Best-known used G. as the author of Russian songs and romances. Special love song won "Mother dear," "Bell", "Parting."
