Orlando Bloom (Orlando Bloom)

Orlando Bloom was born in Canterbury, England, January 13, 1977. In 1993, a 16-year-old Orlando moved to London and played in the National Youth Theater. Here he developed his acting skills, and then entered the British Academy of Drama, where he played a major role in the play "A Walk in the Vienna woods". His first appearance on screen was in the film "Wilde". After that, he offered other roles, but he decided to continue their education and enrolled in the School of Music and Dramatic Art in London Guildholle, where he played in the plays of Shakespeare and Chekhov.
In 1998, Orlando fell from third floor window and almost killed. The doctors said that he may no longer be able to walk, but nothing happened, and after a couple of weeks he was discharged from hospital. In 1999, Bloom auditioned for the role of Faramir in the project "The Lord of the Rings", but got the role of Legolas. In the two months before the shooting, he arrived in New Zealand to learn to shoot archery, fencing (he coached himself, Bob Anderson) and ride.
After the worldwide success of The Lord of the Rings "in Orlando was showered with offers of other roles. In 2002 he released a film by Ridley Scott's "Black Hawk Down", where Orlando was playing with Ewan McGregor and Josh Hartnett. In 2003, he starred in the Australian film "Ned Kelly" with Heath Ledger and a promising film "Pirates of the Caribbean" with Johnny Depp.
