Russian Communist Party leader ready to run for presidency again
Leader of the Russian Communist Party Gennady Zyuganov believes he must be ready fr being nominated as a presidential contender. He made the statement to reporters yesterday.
"I am the leader of the biggest party and I am one of the most experienced politicians in the country. There four-five more people like me overall. The leader of the biggest party, for whom half of the country voted, must be ready for being nominated as a presidential contender," Zyuganov said.
"I am prepared for a serious political struggle. Not just for the presidential post, but, first of all, for forming a government of national interests, for introducing serious changes into the constitution and announcement of a new economic policy that will be based on the wealth of the people but not the oligarchy, how it is happening now in the country," Gennady Zyuganov said.
So, nomination of Zyuganov as the Communist Party?s contender for the 2008 presidential race can be considered as went through.
