Shoulder injury hinders Sharapova
Maria Sharapova who suffered Venus Williams setback at Wimbledon ascribes the loss to shoulder injury.
Sharapova`s serve left much to be desired in her fourth round clash against Venus Williams.
Her quickest serve was 185 km per hour whereas the American`s first serve averaged 185 km per hour.
"My poor serve is the result of the shoulder injury," said Sharapova to Sport Express.
"Yet I don`t think I served poorly right from the very beginning."
"Venus built up pressure right off the bat."
"I served very well in the second set though."
