Ukraine has sent a request to the GP RF extradition of ex-MP Shepelev
The chief Prosecutor's office of Ukraine appealed to the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation with a request for extradition of the former Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Shepelev, accused of theft of public funds and contract killings, informs the press service of the Ministry.

first of Shepelev was declared in the international search, in relation to him was opened criminal proceedings on suspicion of theft of state funds on a large scale and attempted murder. Shepelev was found and detained in Hungary. The authorities of that state refused refugee status and was extradited to Ukraine.
later Shepelev, which the court decided to detain, fled from Kiev city clinical emergency hospital, where he was under the protection of the employees of the detention center. Later Odintsovo city court of Moscow issued a warrant for his detention. The court commented that the question of extradition Shepeleva be determined.
