MOSCOW, may 2 - R-Sport. The Russian canoeists won a gold medal in Canoeing competitions-fours at a distance of 1000 meters at the European Championships in rowing and Canoeing in Ra?ice, Czech Republic.
The Russian team of Cyril Shamshurina, Rasul ishmuhamedova, Victor Melentieva and Vladislav Cebotari finished first with a time of 3 minutes 23, 460 seconds.
The second were the Romanians - 3. 24, 792. Third place was taken by the Ukrainians - 3. 25, 412.
