Rossotrudnichestvo decided to start promoting Russian cinema and screening of selected creations of Russian cinema abroad. The world will see the "Battle for Sevastopol Sergey Mokritsky, "the Purpose of seeing" Evgeniy Sokurov and the cartoon "Wizards of balance" Sergey Seregin.
According to the Deputy head of Department for humanitarian cooperation of the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, compatriots living abroad and international humanitarian cooperation Sergey Anoshkina, selecting the films, they thought any of them would be more entertaining compatriots and citizens of other countries who are fond of Russian culture.
So, "the Battle of Sevastopol" tells about the life of the famous sniper Lyudmila Pavlichenko, "the Purpose of seeing" among other things dedicated to seven female snipers, sent to the front immediately after the start of the war. "Magicians of balance" - full-length version of the television series "the Mystery of the Sukharev tower" on the associate of Peter I, the astronomer Jacob Bruce, who had the glory of the wizard.
All films in the Agency will provide subtitles in 5 languages - English, French, German, Spanish and Chinese. Then the picture will send to organize screenings in 92 private offices and national embassies. "We have already celebrated the 70th anniversary of the Victory, but we have the whole year planned different activities for all representations in connection with the anniversary.
