Russia reserves structure balanced - Central Bank
The currency structure of Russia`s $447.9 billion gold and forex reserves is balanced and does not require changes in response to a weakening U.S. dollar, a top central banker said Thursday.
"We have a balanced reserves structure and as far as I know we do not have any public or internal discussions about how to react to the dollar`s behaviour," central bank Deputy Chairman Konstantin Korishchenko told a business conference.
The central bank said in March dollars made up about 50 percent in the reserves currency structure. Euros make up about 40 percent and sterling about 10 percent.
