The MPs are Happy and want to return the death penalty in time of hostilities
People's the people's Deputy and the commander of the regiment of special purpose "Dnepr-1" Yuri Birch and a group of MPs are preparing a draft law on authorization of the death penalty in Ukraine. About this Birch on the first day of the week told the Ukrainian edition.
Thus, according to him, it is planned that the law permits the death penalty will only be valid at the time of engagement.
"We haven't submitted a draft law, because my group has yet to write. There are several controversial issues. Once it will be fully ready - just register in the Verkhovna Rada. But I Wish to emphasize that this draft law will have a limited effect only during the conduct of hostilities, " said Birch.
Birch had previously stated that he supports the legalization of the death penalty for treason and corruption. According to his vision, for the rape of women and children to guilty also need to apply the death penalty.
