More than 50 delegates from the OSCE PA has signed a letter condemning the exception of the Russian Federation
The Italian delegation of the OSCE parliamentary Assembly on Thursday submitted a letter to the Chairperson of the the Ilkka Kanerva, signed by 55 MPs condemning the exclusion of Russia from among the participants of the summer session of the OSCE PA, said Sputnik Italian people's choice party "Northern League" Claudio D'amico (Claudio D'amico).

According to Claudio D'amico, members of his party have initiated the collection of signatures among other delegates of the OSCE PA. First Italian public representative also told Sputnik that all members of the Italian delegation and leaders of the delegations of Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Belarus and Malta supported the initiative to collect signatures.

The OSCE parliamentary Assembly, ordinary session which took place on Wednesday in Helsinki, adopted a resolution that condemns Russia's actions in Ukraine and close to its borders in the context of the country's ongoing decline. For a decision voted 96 members of the annual session, 7 people voted against and 32 abstentions. The text of the final document was prepared by the members of the delegations of Ukraine and Canada. In the document it is underlined that the Assembly condemned " the unilateral and unjustified encroachment on Russia's sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine ".
