In Russia, a new mobile operator
In 2016, Russia will have noticed the newest mobile operator, which will be competitive against the "big three". The project is jointly implement businessmen Yevgeny Roitman and Musa Bazhayev.
The new operator network will be built on LTE frequencies 1900-1920 MHz, which are owned by the companies "Antares", "Arcturus" and "Integral". It will operate in the LTE TDD (Time Division Duplex), which provides reception and transmission of data to one lane with time division.
In addition to mobile web, the operator will provide voice services on technologies VoLTE (voice over LTE) and VoWiFi (voice over wifi). With all this, the implementation of these technologies can only commence after the issuance of an appropriate order of the Ministry of communications coordinated with law enforcement agencies. It is assumed that such a decree will be issued by the beginning of 2016.
As informs "Interfax", the company of Roitman already got the numbering capacity in the code 900. They issued 2 million numbers in the Moscow region, St.-Petersburg, Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Voronezh, Leningrad, Samara, Rostov, Volgograd, Tomsk, Irkutsk oblasts, Stavropol, Krasnodar and Khabarovsk territories.
It is known that the ruling company operator will be also "Antares". In early 2016, it will start the network in Moscow and the region. In the remaining regions stay the operator will start to work on through the coming year. The construction of the new network was launched six months ago. Today in the Moscow region built about 650 base stations (BS) LTE-Advanced.
According to reliable information, "Vedomosti", the partner of Eugene Roytman on this project was the holder of a mining and metallurgical company "Russian platinum" Musa Bazhayev. State Bagaeva brought investments in oil and mining sector of the economy, large-scale assets in telecommunications he still was not.
