Russia and the US are moving to an unpredictable confrontation
It's not a new cold war. It's a blatant conflict. Us-Russian relations deteriorated sharply amid the flurry of accusations and disagreements on a wide range of issues from competing military action in Syria to the dispute over East independence and the escalation of the European cyber violations.

Moscow persistently denies accusations of meddling in the U.S. presidential election. In an interview this week, Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov said that it was a baseless accusation. Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton pointed to journalists as evidence that Russia stands behind her opponent, Donald trump. Appearing at the investment forum on Wednesday in Moscow, Russian President Vladimir Putin did not accept the charges.
