On Mars discovered the dunes with dots and dashes
Astronomers have discovered the dark sand dunes on Mars similar to Morse code. But no, they don't think little green men trying to tell us something.
High-resolution images on NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, with dark sand dunes were sold in February. So what is it? Report from the red planet, or just weird little topographic anomaly?
The dunes probably formed in the area where the fallen old meteorite. From the impact formed a crater. This area is the amount of sand available for dune formation, in turn, divided winds of dune, said NASA. Thus, instead of long, flowing lines of the dunes that we used to see on our planet, swirling winds in this part of Mars was created out of the dunes various dots and dashes. Why is this happening? Scientists don't know.
"This process is not currently understood and is a subject for study, said in a press release NASA. If you transform the dots and dashes into words, what that means is also unknown. Planetary scientist Veronica Bray moved them to Gizmodo.com: "NEE NED ZB 6TNN DEIBEDH SIEFI EBEEE SSIEI ESEE SEEE !!" If the Martians are trying to talk to us, we need to understand the structure of their sentences.
