In London from July banned commercials in transport, announced the transport administration of the city.
The newly elected mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, said all advertising on the transport network of the city will be removed as it is dangerous for the young generation. "As a father of two teenage girls, I am extremely concerned about this kind of advertising that may humiliate people, especially women, and will cause to be ashamed of their own bodies. It was high time to put an end to it,"Khan said on Monday.
More than 70 thousand people have signed a petition calling to remove ads that insulted women, but this was refused, citing the fact that "it is unlikely that is can cause serious or widespread offence."
The ban on "unrealistic" ad will be removed about 12 thousand ads in spaces that are controlled by Transport for London (TfL) - including the London underground,
