Zac Efron is set to propose to Vanessa Hudgens, and hopes to have a summer wedding
The two stars met while shooting the High School Musical film franchise and have been inseparable ever since. There have been repeated rumours they are planning to wed, but Zac, 22, has always insisted his is too young to tie the knot.
He is now believed to have re-thought his decision, and is keen to get married to his 21-year-old girlfriend sooner rather than later. "Vanessa can drive Zac crazy. She will call him 25 times a day and make him want to run the other way. His family is saying he?s too young to get married and his buddies are telling him he should be out there sowing his wild oats, but Zac says when he looks at his life, there`s no way he can envision is without Vanessa," a source told National Enquirer magazine.
"So he says he`s going to pop the question very soon. He`s just waiting for the right romantic moment."
The actor is keen to tie the knot in a ceremony on the beach in Malibu.
Vanessa was recently overheard discussing her dream engagement ring with a pal, saying she wants a "band of diamonds" and not just a single stone.
