Microsoft first showed the largest aircraft carrier
Founded by billionaire Paul Allen's company Stratolaunch Systems on may 31 for the first time brought out of the hangar aircraft designed to deliver missile into orbit.
Stratolaunch has a 385-foot wingspan, is equipped with six engines used in the Boeing 747, with a height of 50 feet and can carry more than 500 thousand pounds of payload. The plane has 28 wheels. Chief Executive Director of Stratolaunch Jean Floyd, said the aim was to start a demonstration in 2019.
"In the coming weeks and months we will actively engage in ground and flight tests in aviation and space ports Mojave," said Floyd in a statement. "This is the first of its kind aircraft, so we will give priority to the safety of our pilots, crew and staff."
Stratolaunch will take off from the runway. He will fly to the approximate cruising altitude of a commercial airliner prior to the launch of the carrier rocket. Vulcan Aerospace Allen is working with aerospace pioneer Burt Rutan, Scaled Composites, according to an ambitious project.
