Friend the ex-President of South Korea was sentenced to 3 years in prison
A friend of deposed South Korean President Choi sung-SIL was sentenced to 3 years in prison for her role in a corruption scandal.
The Central district court in Seoul found that Choi sung-SIL is guilty of breach of duty, using his connections with the country's leadership to ask for academic support for her daughter at University, Ewha Womans University, said on Friday the press officer of the court.
