Kerrie Hayes feels best in her "worst outfit" and no make-up
The budding actress got her big break when she was cast as the lead in upcoming British film Kicks last year. Since then, she has received dozens of job offers and recently starred in a fashion shoot for UK Vogue magazine. Despite her new celebrity lifestyle, Kerrie says she doesn`t feel glamorous at all, and would rather throw her "vanity" aside and get stuck into more movie roles.
"I sometimes feel the most comfortable when you put me in the worst outfits with no make-up," she explained. "I always imagined I`d have a lot of vanity within myself because you see all these actresses when you`re growing up and they`re all so glamorous on the screen. But I`m just starting out and I`m still learning and I want to throw any kind of vanity aside."
Kerrie also stars in Rowan Joffe`s remake of Brighton Rock, which is set in the 1960s. She is very proud of the film, and loved getting to experiment with the era?s fashion.
"It`s got a really good look to it. It`s quite dark but it works well with the fashions of the 60s," she told Total Film magazine.
